Cookie Policy

Last updated: 30 March 2026  ·  We use cookies to keep Omnisio running and to improve your experience

Your choices

We always use strictly necessary cookies — these keep you logged in and the site running. We ask for your explicit consent before setting analytics cookies. You can change your preference at any time via the cookie banner at the bottom of any page.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device and remember information about your visit, such as your login state.

We also use browser localStorage for certain platform preferences (e.g. your cookie consent choice). This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

2. Cookies We Use

Strictly Necessary

Always on — no consent required

These cookies are essential for the Platform to function and cannot be disabled:

  • Supabase auth tokens — keeps you securely logged in
  • CSRF protection tokens — prevents cross-site request forgery attacks
  • Session management — maintains your session state as you navigate the Platform

These cookies expire at the end of your session (when your browser is closed) or when your authentication token naturally expires. Legal basis: Strictly necessary — consent not required under PECR.

Analytics Cookies

Requires your consent

These help us understand how users interact with Omnisio so we can improve the experience:

  • Pages visited and time spent on site
  • Click patterns and navigation paths
  • Device type, browser, and operating system

Analytics data is aggregated and anonymised where possible. These cookies typically expire after a defined duration (e.g. 30–365 days). Legal basis: Consent (UK PECR / UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time.

Third-Party Cookies

Some of our integrations may set their own cookies:

Stripe (payment processing)

Used for fraud prevention and secure payment processing. Strictly necessary when completing a payment. Privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy

Cloudinary (media delivery)

Used to optimise image loading for profile photos and service images. Privacy policy: cloudinary.com/privacy

3. Your Consent & How to Manage It

When you first visit Omnisio, a banner will ask for your consent to analytics cookies. You can click "Accept all" to consent or "Essential cookies only" to decline non-essential cookies. Either way, the site will work fully — only analytics will be affected.

Your choice is stored in your browser's localStorage so we don't keep asking. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage or site data, which will re-show the banner on your next visit.

Under UK PECR and UK GDPR, continued use of the site does not constitute consent to cookies. We only set non-essential cookies after you explicitly click "Accept all".

4. Managing Cookies in Your Browser

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings:

  • Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data
  • Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings → Privacy, Search, and Services → Cookies

Note: blocking strictly necessary cookies (e.g. auth tokens) will prevent you from logging in.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes or as required by law. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Significant changes will be communicated via the Platform or email.
